🐾 Terms & Conditions of Sale
(Sun Dandelion Cattery – United Kingdom)
1. General
1.1. All kittens bred by Sun Dandelion Cattery are raised in a family home environment with love, care, and socialisation.
1.2. By reserving or purchasing a kitten, the Buyer agrees to all terms and conditions stated below.
1.3. The Breeder reserves the right to refuse a sale if it is believed that the kitten’s welfare may be at risk.
2. Reservation and Deposit
2.1. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a kitten.
2.2. The deposit amount and payment method will be agreed in writing before payment.
2.3. The deposit guarantees that the selected kitten will be held for the Buyer until the agreed collection date.
2.4. If the Buyer changes their mind or fails to complete the purchase, the deposit will not be refunded.
2.5. If the Breeder cancels the sale for any reason, the full deposit will be refunded.
3. Health and Veterinary Care
3.1. All kittens leave the cattery:
in good health,
dewormed and flea-treated,
vaccinated (first dose or full course depending on age), and
with a veterinary health record.
3.2. A veterinary check is performed within 48 hours prior to collection.
3.3. Once the kitten leaves the cattery, responsibility for its health and wellbeing transfers to the Buyer.
4. Microchipping and Identification
4.1. All kittens are microchipped before leaving the cattery in compliance with UK law.
4.2. The microchip number will be registered in the Buyer’s name upon transfer.
5. Neutering / Spaying (Sterilisation) Policy
5.1. Kittens sold as “Pet Only” are not to be used for breeding under any circumstances.
5.2. The Buyer agrees to have the kitten neutered or spayed between 4 and 6 months of age, or as advised by their veterinarian.
5.3. The Buyer must provide written proof of sterilisation (a signed veterinary certificate or invoice showing the microchip number and date of procedure) within 14 days after the surgery.
5.4. Failure to provide proof of sterilisation may result in:
cancellation of registration papers,
withdrawal of breeder support, and
reporting to the relevant feline associations if applicable.
5.5. Breeding rights are granted only under a separate written contract and at the Breeder’s discretion.
6. Collection and Transport
6.1. Kittens must be collected in person unless otherwise agreed.
6.2. Transport arrangements (if applicable) must comply with animal welfare regulations and be approved by the Breeder.
6.3. The kitten must not be re-sold, gifted, or transferred to third parties or pet shops without the Breeder’s prior written consent.
7. Returns and Refunds
7.1. Deposits are non-refundable except if the Breeder cancels the sale.
7.2. Once a kitten has left the cattery, refunds will only be considered if the kitten is returned within 48 hours and examined by a veterinarian showing a serious health issue directly traceable to the breeder (supported by a written veterinary report).
8. Registration and Pedigree
8.1. Kittens registered with TICA / GCCF / WCF will receive pedigree documents once proof of sterilisation is provided, unless breeding rights were explicitly purchased.
9. Governing Law
9.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
9.2. Any dispute arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
🐱 By placing a deposit or purchasing a kitten, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
