Who looks after your information?
Sun Dandelion / Love Scottish is founded and run by Alona and her family. We are responsible for the information collected through this website. Contact us at info@lovescottish.co.uk.
What we collect and why
We collect the name, email address, area, household details, preferences and notes you choose to enter in the waiting list enquiry. We use these to respond, understand your home and review potential kitten matches. Your name and email are needed for a reply; the other details are optional. Please avoid sending children's names or sensitive personal details.
We rely on our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and considering suitable homes for our cats. Our family reviews enquiries; kitten matching is not decided solely by an automated system. An enquiry does not create a reservation, payment or marketing subscription.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare provides our website hosting, enquiry storage and Turnstile spam protection. It processes the information needed to provide those services, including technical connection and security information. Cloudflare may process information outside the UK under the safeguards described in its data processing terms and privacy policy.
We do not sell your enquiry details. Access is limited to our family and service providers supporting this enquiry service. We use the email address you provide to discuss your enquiry, without adding you to a marketing list.
How long we keep an enquiry
We keep enquiry records for up to 12 months, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask to withdraw your enquiry sooner by emailing us.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access to your information, corrections, deletion or limits on its use. Contact info@lovescottish.co.uk and we will handle your request in line with the rights that apply.
You may object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can contact us and also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website, such as pages viewed and broad sources of visits. Google may set analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_*, and process online identifiers and usage information for this purpose. We do not load Google Analytics before you accept. You can reject it or change your choice using “Analytics settings” in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser. For more detail, see the Google Privacy Policy.
